The story
I have been working with websites and online marketing for over 20 years
I started working with websites and online marketing in 2002. Since then, I have worked on small local business websites, showroom websites, service websites and large ecommerce websites with around 10,000 products.
That mix is useful because it means I understand both sides: the simple local business that needs more calls, and the larger website that needs clean structure, clear categories, speed, content, tracking and better search visibility.
How I think
A good website should help people make a decision
A website does not need to be complicated to work well. It needs to answer real questions, build trust, load quickly, and make the next step clear.
Clear beats clever
People should understand what you do within a few seconds. Fancy wording and slow effects usually get in the way.
Local detail matters
Good local pages should sound like the business knows the area, the customers and the common questions.
Proof builds trust
Real work, screenshots, examples and reviews are stronger than big claims or empty marketing lines.
Who I work with
I mainly help small local businesses where better online visibility can make a real difference
Trade and service businesses
Businesses such as scrap metal companies, tilers, builders, carpenters, bathroom companies and other local trades.
Product and showroom businesses
Businesses such as tile retailers, showrooms and ecommerce websites that need clearer product, category and local pages.
Not a big agency setup
Simple, direct and focused on useful work
The aim is not to sell a big package full of things you do not need. The aim is to look at where your website is now, what is stopping people finding or contacting you, and what should be fixed first.
Fair working
I am careful about working with direct competitors
If I am helping one local business in a specific sector and area, I will be careful about taking on a direct competitor nearby. That is only fair. The goal is to build trust and do proper work, not sell the same advantage to everyone in the same street.
